Soul tired
Do you ever feel like you are on a mouse wheel of work, sleep, chores? Maybe I'm overly tired and just grumpy, but I realized last night I"m not going to get off this wheel for a really long time or ever. I work so hard, and am independent but unless I win the lottery, my life really won't change much. I feel like I'm putting out way more than I'm getting back and I'm just drained and deflated feeling. I want something to look forward to, something to get excited about.
I had a little kitten run in my house the other day and refuse to leave, so sucker that I am let her stay. I went out and bought all the cat things she will need. But she crys constantly! Never stops, all night wakes me up trying to get me to pet her, biting me, trying to wake me up. She never stops the calling, I guess for her Cat mom. I have no idea how to make her feel better and I am a walking zombie. I don't do well without sleep! Especially working 12 and 13 hour days lately, I need some rest!

Routine drives me crazy! I don\'t think my personality will ever allow me to get used to \"going through the motions\". That\'s why it is up to us to shake things up a little! Get out and run in the sprinklers! Dance around your house naked! Take a shot at a bar and flirt with everyone you find attractive just for fun...you get the idea! lol. Sometimes that\'s just what we need to do to get over the mundane.
Letting the cat stay is just what I mean by shaking things up! I have a feeling she has found a wonderful companion in you! :). Kittens need a lot of nurturing and crying is their way of getting it. Depending on her age, you may want to start ignoring her sometimes when she calls so she learns how to be self sufficient.
My cat is an adult and she does the same thing. Very needy. But its tricky to train a cat compared to a dog. Don\'t worry, she\'s just nervous about her new surroundings. Give it time and things should be easier and you will get your much deserved rest!
Thanks I didn\'t know that about cats. I will help her out! I thought about giving her away but she\'s great company. Talks to me in cat language constantly! Ohhh. Lordy. I hope I don\'t become one of those batty single old cat ladies. Lol!
As long as you don\'t have 10 cats, I think you are in the clear! lol.

Please slow down and take Care ou Yourself or You will burn out like I did. Seems you have similar symtoms that I had before I burn\'t out.
