Sort of update...

Just a quick update. I went to see my GP on Friday, and I'm now awaiting a call with the information for an ultrasound.
Normally my GP can be an ass, but with my DH there, he turns into a nice guy. I told him what my RE told me about the lap band surgery, and my GP chuckled, shook his head and went "Yes, I received a note saying you may want to think about it," then he said that it is an option, but only if I want to go for it. He also told me there are options that can be 'reversed' in case I decide I do want to do it and get pregnant afterwards.
My GP was also kind of taken aback when I told him that my RE ignored me about the pains and would only talk about lap band. Even more so when I said "since the pains are getting worse, I hope you'll help me where Dr. R wouldn't".
Overall my GP was in a good mood on Friday, joking with my DH and I about Christmas shopping and about how embarrassing it would be if I were to fall off the exam table and break my hip after he'd had me laying on my side on it and told me to roll back onto my back and "try not to roll off the edge". It was quite amusing all in all. I have to say it's still awkward when your Dr undoes your pants, but oddly I'm getting used to being pantsless/near pantsless in front of my Drs. Another reason to hate IF....
I'll update again after I've had the ultrasound. Hope you ladies are having a good weekend!

Glad he wasn\'t a jerk Friday, but it\'s kind if ridiculous that he\'s only nice when DH is around. I hear ya about always being pants less. My modesty went out the window a LONG time ago :)
