Sorry I haven\'t been around much...
I'm sorry I haven't been around much this past week or so. It's been a busy, and sad time. My dad's mother passed away last Wednesday morning. She isn't the grandmother I usually talk about on here. Her passing was unexpected, but thankfully she is out of pain now. Her heart gave out on her, and my dad agreed with her doctor when he said he should let her go. So he did. My father is just getting over cancer. He's still very thin (he is almost 100 lbs now and used to be 165lbs) and very weak. Poor guy now lost his mother. He's been through a lot this year. Please keep him in your thoughs and prayers. He needs to gain back weight and fast. I've also been very busy packing our things up because our Landlord has promised new carpet. I packed 3 days straight, and then Wednesday was when we were suppose to get it. We would have to move a lot of furniture outside so they could lay the carpet, so I had Jon take the day off work, a friend of mine take a 3 hour bus ride to get here, and my nephew and his friend were coming over to help Jon move things. Well, just a couple hours before the carpet people were suppose to be here, my apartment manger came to our apartment to tell me they had cancelled because the main guy hurt his back and needed an MRI. Now, I'm sorry about his back and all, but you would think they would have other people to lay the carpet!!! I was sooo upset I started crying because of all the pain I had gone through to get this planned and done. And I don't know if I even believe my apartment manager because we have caught her in lies before and she's only been here a month.So anyway, that's what I've been doing. I still don't even know when we are getting the carpet. Most of our things are in boxes and we're here with our thumbs up our asses. LOLI hope to talk to you all soon and catch up!Love,Jessica

Jessica -- Sorry to hear about the loss of your father\'s mother. Sounds like he has been through a lot. Your apartment manager should be ashamed of herself. She could have made it work. Get someone else there. No excuse. She should have put you up in a hotel and paid for storage until it was done. That just plain stinks. So sorry hon. Hang in there. Lora
Jess, It sounds like your taking in alot of weight on your sholders. I am sorry to here about your dad\'s mother. What type of cancer does your father have to loose so much weight that fast? He must be nauseous alot and loosing weight from throwing up so often. If the guy that hurt is back was suppose to do your carpet why couldn\'t he call you to tell you that a day or two in avance that he wasn\'t comming? That is so screwed up. You would think why can\'t somebody else do it! Then your friend has a long three hour bus ride! If I was in your shoes I would want to scream too. Take care!
