sorry for my disappearence.,

I had an accident in my shop and cut off my right thumb on my table saw. I did it yesterday morning and just got out of surgery at midnight.  They reattached it as best as they could. It will be awhile before I see how much use I can get out of it if any.
Doctor told me I am facing several more surgeries.
I am in alot of pain.  I use to be a drug addict so even though I get pain killers, it's nowhere near enough due to my tolerance being so high.
Hard for me to type so will leave you with a prayer request.  Hoping I can use my thumb again.  It is on my dominant hand.

I  talked to the dr by phone. He had told me to call.  He told me the blade shattered both bones at the knuckle. He put in a plate and rebuilt it as best as he could. It was pretty gross to look at. I remember the x ray girls looked like they were going to faint from looking at it.  He said I may need at least 3 more surgeries.  I have some wood orders to get out also. I told onne customer to give me at least a week.
My wife actually treated me pretty good.  She called the ambulance and put ice on the two pieces until emt came. Then she fainted!
ahh well. At least I caught a glympse of the way things use to be.
