Sore

I had to drive my oldest son back to his house. The only problem is that he lives about  2 hours out of town. His job site is on an army base down there. He is a concrete worker and his boss has a contract for work on the base. He and 3 other workers share an apartment there just outside the post for the duration of the job. Since he doesn't drive (long story)I had to take him. It was a nice day and the scenery was pretty and there wasn't much problem getting him there. On my drive home though I began to tire and had to drive home in stages. I'm home now but I'm soooo tired.. and sore.  I gues that there goes my anticipated career move to long distance over the road driving.  I guess I'll chill out tomorrow in order to recover. I can do that. One good thing about being retired is that I have an open agenda. Ouch,Tom p.s.The reason my son was in town was because his boss took the crew to the football game here this weekend. While downtown, my son lost his wallet with his ID. Since he can't get on the post without an ID , he stayed in town with us to be able to get a new ID. We searched and found his birth certificate and went to the license bureau. As usual the lines were long. I sat and waited for my son. While waiting I guess I must have been doing my Darth Vader imitation. (I breathe a little noisily when things start to act up.) I didn't even notice it , but one man as he was leaving suggested that I consider moving to Arizona. He said that I would breathe better there. I said that I was OK but he just looked at me and said "Think about it!". I did think about it. And rejected the idea. After what happened to me in July due to the heat here in Missouri, I rather suspect Arizona might do me in. I would rather huff and puff a bit. Tom
