Sophie...my puppy
Sophie is still limping. So I called the vet and she is now on a month of the anti-inflammatory and will be re-seen in 2 weeks. She is still limping most of the time and walking only on 3 legs. Her leg is bowed out and looks swollen. I really do hope this approach works, because I am terrified she will need the expensive surgery. It is really hard trying to keep her quiet and the last few days I gave up. My kids don't seem to want to help out and as much as I love my puppy too death....I do need a break.
This past weekend was rough. I felt so lonely and alone all weekend and the anxiety and depression are not lifting. Pdoc is stopping one of my meds and increased another. It just feels like here we go again. I just don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.
OMG I just got a huge wave of nausea. I checked the kneecap on Sophie and it just won't stay in place. I am so worried she is going to need surgery. Why won't it stay in place. I can't believe how sick to my stomach I feel. I love Sophie so much; but why did I end up with a puppy that was going to have problems and potentially cost a small fortune on surgery. I'm on disability....I never have any money to spare. If she has to have surgery it would take months to save and even then may not have enough. It just breaks my heart to see her limping and walking on only 3 legs. And it is only 5 months till I loose a huge amount of money that I've mentioned before. This is not good; it is causing me to spiral down and I get worried I may try to overdose again. I just feel like I can't take anything and this has been bad for so long.
