Sooooo annoying
Today I went into e hospital for a urine culture. For the first time in years, I was unable to go. I can't go on command. I was so annoyed I came home. Was I crazy to leave knowing that I needed to get it done? I left because parking is so darn pricey. Lame I know but true nonetheless.

next time have someone else drive you and take a few beers with you..grin...that will assure you that you will go pee....smile...and if you dont drink...than still have someone else take you and drink about three cups of tea...should do the trick...but im all for the beer instead...rofl...

DellaJeanne, if I have a UTI I will need to do it. I figure I can try again when I go in for a different appointment on the 30th which is very close by. Heather, I don\'t drink beer (vodka is my game). I drank lots of coffee but it didn\'t help. LOL.
i like the thought of going to the doctor drunk but that is not such a good idea. get a pee cup from the doctor they never ask why. Bring the specimen to that doctor and then you dont have to worry on not performing or just ask for cathater to be inserted they can get it out.
Oh, Anna that same thing happened to me one time too. They actually gave me water to drink so they could do the test. I had to drink like three glasses of water before I could finish the test. I like the suggestion about bringing it with you from home before you go for your appoitment.
