Sometimes to gain ground...

You need to slow down! I found that after being released from the hospital, I took off like a bat out of hell. I did so much, so fast that I didn't shut down for about two weeks. I wanted to get out of the hospital and work on being codependent, and figuring out what it meant to be bipolar.
So even though I found myself happy with the things I was doing, I do too much too quickly. This has always been something I have done in the past, but normally I would never go back to doing things that worked for me.  This time I'm going to go back to using the tools I was given.
I can tell the difference in my body and mine that has been different.  I also went through about six half gallons of ice cream in a week. I can't blame my antidepressants for the weight gain it was all the ice cream I consumed.
So tomorrow is is a new! I'm going to go back to my schedule slowly . So that maybe this time I won't fizzle out.  The one thing that I'm truly grateful for is that through all this I stayed sober! I took my medication, went to doctor's appointments , and reviewed my work in my 12 step program.
