Eleanor is so right and very wise. You should never have fear of anything that will take your attention and thoughts away from Jesus. He came down to relate to our human kind. He has given life to all who believe in Him and this rebirth tells us not to fear.
Luke 2:10-11

11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
It is wise of us mortals to only fear the Lord, we should be fearful of His Judgement of our lives everyday, so we may enter and be with our loved ones who past on.
Sirach 1:20
20 To fear the Lord is the root of Wisdom;
her branches are long life.
