something to think about
Something just struck me in a post i read, What does it say about you that you prefer to be in an abusive relationship rather than be alone????????????????????
Yeah why do i, when i think about that, i think what the hell is wrong with me, why would i stay in the hell one minute longer?

There\'s nothing wrong with you at all. We are each of us terrified of the unknown - of going out of what we know, into the unknown. This is the same for the majority of people experiencing change. dont judge yourself too harshly, you will leave when you are ready to leave. In the meantime, make an emergency plan so that, if required, you can get out and have the basics of what you need to survive. Make contact with your local women\'s shelter - just to find out what kinds of supports they offer to women in your position. There is no harm in enquiring, you arent committing to anything. In the meantime, stay on here for support, stay safe and take care
I\'ve heard quite a few people say that. But I refuse to believe that there is anything wrong with someone who stays in an abusive relationship.
There is nothing wrong with you. Only you can make the decision to go and you will make it when you are ready. Keep seeking support from the shelter; most of them offer group therapy sessions (even if you don\'t stay there) that are really helpful.
Keep journaling on DS ; your day will come
