Something good at last

Well, for a change things have gone well today and we've had good news after good news. First the car went in for it's MOT (yearly car roadworthiness inspection), was dreading it expecting them to say it had failed over major stuff. In the meantime while it was in the garage the house insurance people came around - first good news - they accepted our claim - some items they will offer us money on, others they will replace new for old - BINGO - should all be settled in the next 2 weeks.Then as we go to the supermarket to buy our shopping garage rings, it failed - but only on 2 bulbs !!!!! - been and picked that up. Next stop the Nissan garage to find out how much it wll cost to repair the wing mirror the thieves broke - £21 - so not worth putting in an insurance claim, so paid that and it will be in on Friday. Only thing MOT picked up was the starter motor is on it's way out, had a couple of quotes from different garages to fix it and best so far £220 - so need to save up for that next.Oh well all good news for a changeNow i'm off to the gym for our final induction before being let loose on the equipment!
