Something Enlightening?

Well, one of my long lost good friends found me on MySpace the other day and so we just talked on the phone for almost 4 hours straight today!! He is one of the most smartest and most intelligent people I know! I always thought he was someone I could look up to.   We talked about our lives and caught up with what was going on, and then he told me something that kind of confused me, but at the same time, made me thing strange of his point of view of me...I asked him how he thought people percieved me and he said, "I think people feel that you are so open and free to the point that it makes people feel uncomfortable."   When I asked him to elaborate on that he said that people feel that I'm such a good person to be around that they think that it's too good to be true! Gosh, I don't know whether to think that's a good thing or not. I feel flattered, but at the same time, I feel weird. Why do people have to feel uncomfortable around me just because I'm being myself in a positive sense? Why would someone be uncomfortable around a person that they think is worthwhile?     It didn't make too much sense to me, but at the same time it did. What do you think?

It sounds like a weird thing to say. I wonder if, somehow, he feels your openness to be threatening. Maybe he\'s a tad intimidated by women who are extreme extroverts and make friends easily.

Do you think this friend of yours thinks there\'s romantic potential for the two of you?
