Something else!

Something else occured to me....and this seems to happen quite often.  I think someone upstairs is manipulating things in a positive way.
I almost didn't go to the fair on friday. I had no money to go with. My attendance was contingent on selling an item on ebay and getting immediate payment for it.  The chances of that happening was small based on past experience.
Early in the afternoon I checked my sales and thought I would be seeing no dollar signs but as fate would have it, I sold the item and received immediate payment. Plus, I had sold some other stuff to a repeat customer who, in the past, was slower then death at paying but he was also paid up!  So I had plenty of money to go with.
When I got to the fair, I almost didn't enter my name for the bike.  It was sort of a last minute decision when I bumped into the kid again.
Everything that needed to happen, occured.  Everything magically fell into place!

I went to the fair yesterday again but I didn't stay very long.  I watched a magician who was kinda boring, I could easily figure out how he did some of the things he did.  But it was good for the kids anyway.
I did alot of walking, ate more fair food, talked alot with my sister in law who was sitting down and doing some people watching.  I talked with a politician who knew me but I didn't know him. I guess he graduated with one of my sisters. I looked at some exhibits, some of which brought back some memories.  They had pictures and a big sign from an old woolen mill which use to be in the center of town. It has since been torn down and made into a park next to the river with picknic tables and a gazebo.  It's where I met my wife.  I met her older sister first. I asked her out and when she said she was married, I asked her if she had a sister.  She was still in school  but when school ended she came to work and the rest is history.
But I can say that I grew out of the experience. I learned things about myself.  I did some amazing things that I didn't think I was capable of doing; like working two jobs for 18 years, and finishing a marathon.  Now I get tired just thinking about that!
Glad it's over now.
Hope you all have a good day!

Sounds like someone up above is playing a role in making things fall into place. So glad you\'re getting out and glad you won the bike for the little boy. Good feeling, huh?

EVERYTHING happens for a REASON...in its own time. Stay open to this kind of \"message\" and your days will get brighter. You are doing well, my friend. Keep up the good work!

Amazing how things work out. You write very well-I really look forward to your journals-esp (of course) when things are going better. I still can\'t get over the bike miracle!
