Happy New Year's once again to all!
May your 2018 be blessed!!
Now-------I am not one to criticize what others wear---I was not raised that way---BUT------
What is the deal with guys (women do not do this) who---when it is 12 degrees and a -2 wind chill who wear:
A tee shirt, a flannel, a sweat shirt, a jacket, a parka, gloves, scraf, toboggan and a PAIR OF SHORTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I am Native American and very hot natured----but GOOD LORD---I am not ONLY cold above the waist and only hot below it??????
This makes me ashamed to be a male!!!
Idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

spell correct: scarf not scraf---sorry!
Ok, lets start with the weather in my region.
It can be cold in the morning and comfortable to down right hot any day here in S Louisiana. Seriously. Check out my post a few weeks ago. One Thursday, putting out Christmas decorations in shorts
.next Thursday, snow on the roses.
But, seriously, some people are very warm from waist down. Cold in upper body. Me, as long as my feet are comfy, the rest of me is. My feet get cold, I have the chills.
I know that really doesn't explain it. Its...well, unexplainable. Unless you are "one of us". (spooky music) bwahaha
Lol. you must be close to my area. Kinda normal here. Something about being raised with snow as a toy to play with, tool to work with and way of financial gain. This year is the first year that I didn't purposely walk out barefoot in the first snow, for luck. Today it was a balmy 11degrees, why waiste the time with a coat to shovel?
I believe it is a misguided attempt to look macho. I usually get a laugh out of it.
Yup...that might be the simple answer!!
I've seen women who dress as if their different body halfs (upper versus lower) have vastly different temperatures.
I can't control them, so why worry? Smile, perhaps laugh a bit, and then move onto the next perplexing thing. Like why do people who dress outlandishly get offended when they get stared at?
But yes, I agree, no idea why people dress like that
