Some Relief Today

Most of you know that I got my BFP on Monday.  1st beta was 139 and we of course were happy with that number but then the worry started to set in about "what if it doesn't rise".  However, today I got some relief:)  2nd beta was 331 and I am extremely happy that my numbers are doubling.  My RE's ofc only wanted to do two betas but I have been going to my OBGYN for blood work (RE is two hours away) and I asked my local nurse if I could come in again on Friday just for peace of mind.  I'm thinking...I'm pregnant now, insurance should cover the blood work, right?  So, I will go back in on Friday and then just stop worrying about it....yeah, like that's going to happen!!! Since I had a miscarriage over a year ago I still haven't gotten super excited about his pregnancy.  I just need to get over the fear and enjoy the fact that our dream has come true.  I know the worrying right now is not good for me and hubby is doing it too. No symptoms at all yet but then I am only 4 1/2 weeks (I think).   Sending lots of love and prayers to all my lovely DS friends.  Thanks for all your kind messages and I hope to share this experience with all of you!!!

I know how hard it is to not worry, Believe me!!!! I am 33 weeks and STILL worry almost every day!!!

It\'s hard, but really try to just take it one day at a time, one week at a time. I truely think this is the one for you and everything will work out. Don\'t worry about not having any symtons yet or that you aren\'t showing soon enough, I did the same thing and everything so far has been great.

I know this is all so much easier said than done especially after we have lost before. I can\'t wait to see you over on the \"pregnancy after loss/infertility\" board!!!!

I worried until the day I delivered....... that is all pretty normal, and I think all of us who have struggled w/ IF and had miscarriages worry double. Just relax if you can, there is nothing you can do to change anything at this point, it is all in God\'s hands. Just rest and take care of your body. Congrats!

I\'m 9 weeks and still worry.. I don\'t think the worry ever goes away! Take another BETA for piece of mind but all you can do is hope for the best and enjoy every moment of this wonderful experience! BTW; I still haven\'t had ANY symptoms (knock on wood) so hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones too!

Great news, great numbers! You are only human so of course you may be a little aprehensive with all you have been through. It is really happening sweetie! Take it one minute, one hour one day at a time until you have that beautiful little miracle snuggled in your arms. Sending you prayers and much love ;)

This is wonderful news!! Congrats on your numbers. Try not to stress too much. I know that is much easier said than done but you have a VERY important reason to reduce your stress. Keep us posted!

Oh Shannon, I am so excited and RELIEVED to hear the news! I know the \"waiting\" is anguising, but like ShannonC111 said, just take it one day at a time. Take care of yourself, surround yourself with positive people and positive things. Your body will tune in to that and send those loving, postive feelings to your sweet baby(ies). :)
