Some poetry

A friend of mine suggested writing some poetry.... I don't think I ever mentioned that I already do :) So here are the latest from my notebook: "Wonderland" Quizzical yet focusedHappy with an edge of tearsShe dances in the kitchenAlone or with friendsPaint me lilac fieldsCall it loveAnd move on just like the rest of usYou canBecause you have toAnd you are the hand that holds backWake up, daisy morningKiss the sunbeams before they disappearTo the clouds, grey and distantI wait for the cleansing rainTo wash it all awayBreathe lifeBreathe loveAnd you can too be free  haiku: Dance little flowerDon't stop until you're all throughAnd don't dream, just do  and now a couple of untitled pieces :) I never want you to hear me crySo I keep you awayHiddenYet only a sigh awayI don't know what it is to miss youBecause you're always thereHolding my handEven though you're streets awayI know deep insideYou're thereAnd hereI can always feel your warmthI can always picture your smileEven if only in my mind  ****  You are the only light that shines throughSometimes, in the darknessYou are the only wish that comes trueMade upon a lonely eyelashYou speakI listenAnd as the breeze brushes against my cheekI feel you in the wind whispersSaying, "I'm coming soon"Yet you are thereHolding me tightIn the dead of nightWhen visions of sorrowInvade my precious dreamsAnd you say, "It's ok"And it is....It always is....  <3   Thanks for making me share, LRob!  ;)
