Some Nitty Gritty I didn't know when I wrote last night

I accidentally posted some erroneous details...since we learned today that our mortgage company is more underhanded and unethical than we thought.  When DH lost his job and we contacted them, they told us a "Loan modification" was a way to go that would allow us to be considered current on our mortgage...we would be paying a lower payment for 6 months...then a higher payment for 6 months (which would start in June). They said if things weren't better in June, we could re-apply for a loan modification to extend things.  We have a 30 yr fixed loan on a good interest rate, and this sounded like a great option.
So, all this time, we thought we were current on our mortgage.  This is what they told us, with the dire warning that if we were even one day late, they would fast-track foreclosure.
When we tried to find out how things could possibly move so swiftly, we discovered that they have been considering us (and reporting us) as in arrears since the modification!!!!!  So even though we had their assurances and we paid on time for our whole mortgage, they flat-out lied about the loan modification.
AND WORSE YET...while I thought they were just asking for the higher payment to be paid on the 9th or else...that is not the case!!  THEY DECIDED TO RESCIND OUR LOAN MODIFICATION, so they want every nickel that was supposed to be spread out over the next 6 months, PLUS our June payment by the 9th...OR WE ARE OUT. We have not calculated that, nor did they give us the exact amount, but it must be about $9500!!
I have called several of the places suggested to us and emailed a few others and it seems that we are in a bad position for a few reasons.  1) We have a fixed rate loan...a conservative product...because we made a wise choice, there is no help.   2) We don't qualify to refinance our house because DH is unemployed.  3) We have been classified as "in arrears" by the low-life mortgage company we have for 6 months!!
I will leave no stone unturned and I am SO SO SO GRATEFUL for your suggestions and encouragement. Keep them coming!!
Please pray for my sweet husband who seems to be breaking under the pressure of this last bit of news about our house.  He is especially crushed because of how Sophia talks about our "home sweet home" and how much she loves her bed and such.  She doesn't like to be gone long at all...always asks if she can go back to her home sweet home.  :-(   I know she will adjust to wherever we go...but I know it will be a knife in Jason's heart during the time she cries for her home...he is a sucker for our girls and it will be so hard for him.
Jason called a LOT of people about possible rentals and we just do not qualify for a place that 5 people could live (fire code and such). We had several people offer us rooms in their homes, which was so sweet, but we have a major problem... Sophia has HUGE allergies to gluten, casein & soy.  She would be covered in hives and have severe GI pain all the time!!  As many of you know, she lives in extreme pain all the time, we can't add to her pain.
I wrote to a wonderful family who runs a campground that we used to go to each summer and explained our situation.  The answer I got was so heart warming that I was full of joy!  They remember our family as "the nicest family that they've ever had" at their campground and said they would be willing to lease us a space there on a monthly basis.  We need to get a trailer, of course, but the campground is beautiful, immaculate, has a swimming pool, a huge field, bike trails, hiking trails and even some goats the girls love to feed.  I told Jason that, at least for the summer, we could just pretend we're camping and enjoy each other while he looks for work...of course I'll probably be stuck in bed...LOL
I know this sounds like a really embarrassing option, but we could make the trailer an allergy free spot for Sophia...and maybe the girls would have so much fun, they wouldn't notice too much?  Although the packing up part will just devastate Sophia.  She is a girl who plays with everything she has and LOVES her toys so much.  She pretends they are all real and have feelings.
Anyhow, sorry to go on...we never know what God has in store for us, but I feel good about preparing a worst-case-scenario option that we can adjust to.
Thank you ladies again...TRULY...FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!  I feel so blessed to have you!!  This is one of those ways that I feel God has filled the gap left by family in our lives.  :-)
