Some Days I Just Don't Get It.......
Dear Journal,
My need to ramble and rant today is very high....so whoever reads this,please take no offense its not directed at any of my DS friends.
That being said I have been asking my self,when did morals,values,and most importantly COMMON SENSE go out the window....cuz i dont recall getting the memo ,nor would i want one.
Case in point here at work, ( I work for a car dealer) so i see many people, I had said to this little girl of maybe 5 yrs old,that she had looked cute in her sundress,she smiled put out her hand and said give me a dollar,I looked at the mother,not a word from her just a little giggle---I shook my head and went back to my office....Now when i was that age and my mother took us somewhere all dressed up or not,we were always told to keep our hands to ourselves,and say please and thank you,If i had did what this little girl did I can tell ya right now,that i would have gotten the spanking of a lifetime when i got home,and the lecture of how dare i embarass my mother that way....(values)
Now we all have had the boss from hell at 1 time or another,course i still have mine here at work..... but you learn to deal--especially these days with the economy and all i am thankful for even having a job...so why rock the boat,1 of my coworkers here at work refuses to just accept him the way he is,she doesnt, she has to rile him up like a Bull in a china shop,and when he gets riled,he gets riled at everyone,we have told her numerous times he is good today dont rile him up,next thing i know they are at it again....(morals) just do your job,and we will do ours.
I had taken a vacation day yesterday,only to come back today to a mess on my hands and my desk,now we all have been crossed trained to do the job of the other person,should she be out,I have no problem with it sometimes its a change of pace for me which is good....3 files were missing yesterday,but they waited for me to find them today why you ask because they couldnt be bothered looking for them,and they knew i would know where they were I did they were in another box,had they looked in the cabinet they would have seen it right in front of their face,could they be bothered to look NO rather wait on someone else to do their job.....(Common Sense).
I am venting here,and i do apologize for it,but when your last nerve has been struck you just need to vent,I went to lunch and listen to my fav mixed CD,and calmed myself down....But i still have to ask what happen to Values,Morals , and Common Sense.........Some Days I just don't get it.

My guess is youll have no worries with your boss. Sounds like youre the go to person at the office which is code for invaluable! Sort of gives you a little job security when youre that type of employee. But it also means you have to pull your not only your weight but also some of the others. Pull at your hair if it helps but dont pull it out (lol). Hope it gets better!
I agree with Trapped. Go ahead and vent to us. We can take it.
Yeah, I think a lot of us have experinced some form what you experienced. The way Kids act AT HOME, they carry to public places and the same with the parents.
I work in retail and put up with a lot and the parents say nothing: tearing down mannequins, pulling price tags and labels off clothes, tearing down signs, spitting on the mirrors and then putting a lot of arm & hand cordination along with jumping just to -- SMEER THE MIRROR; littering- cause their kept quiet by giving them junk food; they beach toys & cars & get in the way playing while the woMEN shop; screaming for hours and these are the women that stay 1/2 a day in the store; the fitting room for the moms & kids is the filthiest, nauseating, grosesome stinkiest room and I leave it like that and keep all of the other rooms clean cuz another one will come in to do the same. One little girl came in to try (one) thing on and the mom couldn\'t figure out why it was taking so long, when she left the mirror smelled like she rubbed feces on the mirror -- it smelled gross and WE, employees are the ones that clean the mirrors and keep the fitting room neat & clean. Adults often leave filthy gross tissues and the strip from tampons in the rooms also!! I\'m waiting for them to actually leave a used one in there!!! Adults are no different than the kids when it comes to littering also and of course tearing the tags off -- to cheat on prices.
I am shocked at what goes on, in the day & life of shoppers in stores!!
I don\'t know if you have any of this to deal with -- with the public.
I recently purchased a car so I didn\'t leave anything behind even though I was there for hours!!

OMG!!! Energy thats nasty,wow and i thought screaming yelling kids in the lobby were bad,OMG!!! oh i feel so bad for you now,oh yukk,I would come to the store to visit you but no offense,i would not try anything on...LOL,have a good day,thanks for the feedback.
