Some Days I Just Don't Get It.......
Dear Journal,
My need to ramble and rant today is very high....so whoever reads this,please take no offense its not directed at any of my DS friends.
That being said I have been asking my self,when did morals,values,and most importantly COMMON SENSE go out the window....cuz i dont recall getting the memo ,nor would i want one.
Case in point here at work, ( I work for a car dealer) so i see many people, I had said to this little girl of maybe 5 yrs old,that she had looked cute in her sundress,she smiled put out her hand and said give me a dollar,I looked at the mother,not a word from her just a little giggle---I shook my head and went back to my office....Now when i was that age and my mother took us somewhere all dressed up or not,we were always told to keep our hands to ourselves,and say please and thank you,If i had did what this little girl did I can tell ya right now,that i would have gotten the spanking of a lifetime when i got home,and the lecture of how dare i embarass my mother that way....(values)
Now we all have had the boss from hell at 1 time or another,course i still have mine here at work..... but you learn to deal--especially these days with the economy and all i am thankful for even having a job...so why rock the boat,1 of my coworkers here at work refuses to just accept him the way he is,she doesnt, she has to rile him up like a Bull in a china shop,and when he gets riled,he gets riled at everyone,we have told her numerous times he is good today dont rile him up,next thing i know they are at it again....(morals) just do your job,and we will do ours.
I had taken a vacation day yesterday,only to come back today to a mess on my hands and my desk,now we all have been crossed trained to do the job of the other person,should she be out,I have no problem with it sometimes its a change of pace for me which is good....3 files were missing yesterday,but they waited for me to find them today why you ask because they couldnt be bothered looking for them,and they knew i would know where they were I did they were in another box,had they looked in the cabinet they would have seen it right in front of their face,could they be bothered to look NO rather wait on someone else to do their job.....(Common Sense).
I am venting here,and i do apologize for it,but when your last nerve has been struck you just need to vent,I went to lunch and listen to my fav mixed CD,and calmed myself down....But i still have to ask what happen to Values,Morals , and Common Sense.........Some Days I just don't get it.
