Social Security Office visit
I saw my therapist today and it went well. I was super tired this morning because I didn't fall asleep until about midnight and I had to be up at 8:30. Still, I made my bus and my appointment. My therapist was saying that it was really good that I bought the chair for myself because I never do things for myself. She also was talking about Geo and my relationship. She was trying to see if we were more like roommates or a couple. She was asking about the kind of things he did to show affection, like rubbing my leg or back, stuff like that. He may not do it every day, but he does do it. It's the little things. Geo and I have been having a bumpy spot lately, so she's trying to help us. That, and I've been depressed (gee, I wonder if that has anything to do with the bumps with Geo?) so we were talking about that as well. It was a good session and I felt good afterwards. Then we went to Social Security to get our benefit letter to renew our lease and Geo was in pain, so I gave him a Vicodin and he felt better. The way I worked it out was I took the bus home from therapy and the bus stops at the office. I took 2 numbers and waited a bit. Then when our number is close, I called Geo to come to the office so he wouldn't have to wait too long. We got our stuff, came home and called it a day.

i always bring a book or magazine if i\'m on line - that way, i\'m doing something that i\'d be doing if i were anywhere, like the beach or a lounge chair on the deck reading...nice of you to wait on line for him.
also good that you like your therapist. a lot of people on ds go through a lot of therapists before they find one that they actually enjoy.
hope the depression goes away and both of you feel better soon! xxoo
