With SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY, you can GROSS $1000 per month and it will not effect your benefits at all. You can GROSS $1000 per month forever and they don't care! Called and asked myself and that's what I was told!!

Oh they care! You have to submit every pay stub. If you gross it every month they will put you in their try to work program. A few solid months and you start over. I know I do still work a few days a month and they are all over it. Especially they watch your hours and how many days in a row you work.if you do anything that looks like a regular schedule even part time they will want you to try returning to regular employment. Which is fine if you can but it could be hard to get disability back. Things keep changing and it will get harder to qualify.Not that I don\'t want you to work just be aware. What they \"say\" and what they \" do\" are 2 different things.

If you go to the SS website it is there that $1000 or less in earnings is PART of what they use to decide you are disabled. I am shot to CRAP and I\'ve pulled a M-F 40 hour week. Will be talking to boss lady today to see if I can do part time maybe 2 days a week as I cannot keep doing this. If she can\'t let me do that, then this will be my last day.
Just when I was starting to feel emotionally & mentally good.....now I\'m already getting depressed.
Pray I find something that will be pleasing to God that is useful and helps me keep \"busy\" as I can be. I already need 2 or 3 weeks to recover from this 1 week of working.

BGOODWIN - SSDI or SSI? Big difference. SSI they watch every penny. SSDI is another program that is governmentally in dire need of input so they will allow the $1000 gross per month to help the government coffers funds.
