So, you don't like democratic socialism - which government program u like to give up?//dinner at k'
another strange day. so, they did the nails of the dog for me and say there is a sick nail. i don't see anything but i can check when i have her teeth done. they didn't even charge me for trimming the nails or ask for money or anything. wow! that is why they have such a great reputation. if they need bottle feeds i'll do it and maybe walk dogs, its right near here. i'm putting the baby gate back up for the dogs, even though its only one of them that is going too far.
after the dog crap, the other one called from the pound to make sure i was called - i had just picked her up by then. wonder what time this woman actually found the dog and brought it somewhere? that is quite a tricky dog to get through TWO fences. seriously. also noticed bernie has the same kind of mark on his back from going under the new gate that the larger dog used to have from breaking through the hole in the old gate (its all healed now). don't know which gate or where bernie is doing that, but i did find an opening in the fencing that will need more lattice.
beautiful outside in the sun this afternoon and wanted to mow the lawn with the reel to reel but no time, would have been good to wash the car as well. everything looks so dreary and bare and dusty in the winter, even here. not as bad as up north, but its still like that.
went to the spa. yay! rather go later in the day but my back was killing me. there was something going on with the police near our house, 4 police cars and one of those pick ups with a top on it. they were parked for over an hour, but no medical truck so what is that? and no lights going which i think usually means its medical isn't it? i know they don't use sirens if its a heart attack victim because the sirens produce another heart attack. very sad. that's how you know. learned that from mr.
went to a taster they had orange sriracha popcorn shrimp with basmati rice and broccoli with pecan crunch. excellent. they were also having a sale on taster's choice coffee, my fave. just have to remember with that brand i like the house blend (which is light brown coffee) and just the opposite of star bucks where i like the stronger dark blend.
had dinner at k's. he made pork loin, broccoli casserole, salad and by now can't remember the other veggie. martinis with olives. coffee and something else. also had tiramisu up north with j. soooo good. c came by again, he does that or calls every time we are having dinner, i said this to k and he says, he knows. what is that? he served him a martini as well which is a bad idea because c instigates fights with his girlfriend when he drinks vodka - c and k are both like that actually. never saw that kind of thing in so many people until i moved to north florida. watched frasier and forensic files. both good.

Hello 38lbs You sound good, and keeping busy. Never heard of a \"sick nail\"
I am with you on going to the spa. drinking seems to instigate fights in a lot of people. popcorn shrimp sounded good. Did you know that netflix is bringing The Gilmore Girls back...i believe new episodes. If I remember correctly you liked that show. and greenies
*hugs* I hope the dog is okay... I also haven\'t heard about a \"sick nail\". That vet sounds nice... we need to take Angela to the vet but we don\'t have the money right now. Where are you from? I\'m from Los Angeles, and moved to Miami to be with Geo. There are so many crazy people down here... Something about Florida.. Just crazy
i went to high school in miami, but that was a longggg time ago and miami isn\'t the same place anymore. shocking. i haven\'t been back down there since 2005. even in the 80\'s people went on about how many nuts are attracted to the tropical south florida climate and how dangerous it could become. then you talk to people in miami (back then) and they insisted it was broward that was the big problem and people in palm beach county said the same. i worked in broward and lived on the border of what is now aventura/surfside/golden beach - our area on the intracoastal is pretty much untouched except that all the mini mansions on the water are gone and they built villas and townhomes in their place. the green that was on our island is GONE and another few hi-rises were built where the green once was. the buildings all match, but its not the same. you can FEEL the pressure of so many people, which is ironic because when my friends from the north end of broward would visit back in the 80\'s they would comment how \"city\" our area was, if they saw it now i think they would faint. almost everyone started moving to areas of north florida and north palm beach county in the 90\'s, so the congestion started then.
if you read murderpedia on line, there are super crazy people everywhere, but i agree, something happened to florida in the last 20 years or more. from what i hear it actually happened sooner than that, many started heading north in the 70\'s. a lot of \"missing people\" in florida. come here on vacation or spring break and disappear. that isn\'t normal. very sad.
Yup, big fan of gilmore. glad its on again for people to enjoy. i have them on dvd and just started watching a little of it recently, as i found another dvd set at a sale and bought it to put at friends\' homes. let rn borrow them and now she is addicted to the show and she said the same thing, netflix has it on, so she started watching it on netflix when pet sitting. thanks for the reminder as, she doesn\'t have netflix at home so i should probably see if there is an old copy for sale somewhere. i know rg looked on line for someone else and he said they are expensive even now. big surprise as the series isn\'t new anymore. do you watch it? it has a LOT of dry humor, and its an interesting show because most of the characters are single, same as the andy griffith show was. series like that can stay on tv for 20 years, so its a shame they tried to alter this one when it was bought out by CW. CW claimed they wanted to appeal to a younger audience, 15 year olds. within ONE year of firing the original writers and altering the show, ratings went down and it went off the air. (if its not broke don\'t fix it). too late now though.
turns out that the police were at the building because the man hadn\'t paid his rent on january 1. they posted papers on his door and the papers weren\'t picked up. so they called the police and entered because they smelled something. rumor has it, the body was swollen and he\'d been dead for a few weeks. very sad. the police impounded the car, which means if they don\'t locate family quickly, the impound fees will exceed the value of the car very quickly and his belongings will go to the county. they already emptied his apartment. isn\'t that illegal? very sad.
