So we're pregnant...again:)
The past few weeks, I have been going back and forth, trying to figure out how am I going to break the news to my daily strength sisters I am pregnant…again! It is an exciting and to be honest, a scary time. I have prayed for this time. But I am holding on to God’s promises and I recall that the spirit of fear is not of God. I have reached milestones that I’ve never reached before. We are 14 weeks. My biggest symptoms has been fatigue, increase appetite and I’ve gained 5 Ibs. I have not been nauseated so I’m counting my blessings. I broke the news to some sooner than others. Since I never reached the seconded trimester with my other pregnancies I told very few in the past. This time it’s different, I have been announcing it to the world:) Surprisingly, I have not been getting the congratulatory support from some, but most appear to be very excited for us. But on the contrary, I will try and not take it personal, because you never know what a person is going through, and now is not the time for the enemy to steal my joy after sowing in all these tears. This past year has been a very reflective year for me. Some would say the second trimester you are in the “safe zone” but I won’t be reassured until I have a safe delivery.
Something that I did different to this time, that may have helped thus far is take progesterone as soon as I found out I was pregnant, and I just stopped. I won’t be making a lot of updates b/c I am sensitive to that fact that this is a healing place. I have learned on this journey that coping with miscarriage is my ministry and it will always be. I have a whole new outlook on life and motherhood. I am thankful for every experience be it pain or joy. It has strengthened my faith and walk in Christ. I ask that you please keep me your prayers as I will do the same for you. I came across this scripture just the other day and it was for me and it maybe for you too:
1 Samuel 1:27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.

SOOOO happy for you! Congratulations, Mommy! You deserve this victory. I\'ve found wall decals with that scripture from Samuel online. I plan to use it in my nursery.
Thank you for being sensitive to your DS sisters. But look forward to your updates. Of course, you will remain in my prayers.

If you don\'t mind me asking, what did the fertility specialist find out as to the causes of your miscarriages?
