So upset with neighbors
I have this one neighbor who moved in a little over a year ago and he has been very mean to my ferals and any other cat in the neighborhood. The feral cats I care for are so frightened by this man that I hardly see them anymore and they are getting so skinny from not coming to eat. He injured a stray who had lived in the neigborhood for years who several people were feeding and watching out for him. Needless to say the stray cat everyone loved had to be put down because of this man.
Lately he has been chasing the ferals cats off my properity. I said something to him last night about it and he yelled and cursed at me while I was in my own house. He was standing in his driveway yelling that I was a f#@!$ whore and lived off of welfare. I am not a whore and little does he know I don't live on welfare or even foodstamps.
This neighbor has caused so much stress that my Fibromyalgia is always flaring up. I have chronic headaches and mirgraines and they are worse because of this guy. He reminds me of my ex husband who was very abusive towards me. I had to get a protection order to get away from my ex, I just wish this guy would move away. He moved in an area where there are lots of stray and feral cats around. People around here have been helping these cats and getting them spayed and neutered to get the cat population down in this area.
Sorry I just needed to vent. I try not to let this guys words upset me but when he is going around hurting cats it upsets me. My youngest son has even seen him kick his own dog. I have lived here for 10 years and have never had trouble with neighbors until him and his family moved in. The sad thing is that he has a very young son who he is teaching to hurt animals.

I know it\'s not right to hate, but people like that awful neighbor...I DO hate. I would ry and get some video evidence of him mistreating animals (not that I want ANY animal to be hurt) so that maybe, hopefully he could be charged with cruelty to animals or something. People like that just don\'t have a heart and I feel they should be treated the same way that they treat these poor defensless animals who others are trying to help. (just my opinion) I will pray that he finds it so miserable to live there and moves away where there are no animals around for him to hurt.
I think my own Fibromyalgia just flared big time just hearing about this idiot.
Hi Angel....sorry to hear about your neighbor. Vent all you like cause it helps. I know saying \"try not to worry\" is easier said than done but for your health\'s sake, try hard. Trying to cope/tolerate people like that is certainly challenging but whatever \"goes around, comes around\" and it sounds like this jerk is overdue.
I have found there are many laws governing things (like your neighbor) but trying to enforce them is another story. Be the lady you are and don\'t lower yourself to his level. When you hate someone, the only one you\'re hurting is yourself because your personality changes so try to keep positive. What about the Humane Society or SPCA in your area....could they help? Have other neighbor\'s had luck in coping with this_____? Keep taking pictures and videos cause they may be worth \"gold\".
I have had a somewhat similar experience only with my white poodle (who died two years ago. It was something I\'d never want anyone to go through. I wish you all the strength you need to cope and make it through the day.
I\'m trying not to let this neighbor upset me but I really miss seeing my cats. I\'m lucky if they come around a couple times a week. I don\'t even think they are living under my other neighbors porch anymore.
I also don\'t think he should be standing in his driveway and calling me a whore. Any man that thinks he has a right to call a woman this is a loser in my book.
I think someone did something to his truck last night, he parks it out on the street. I\'m not the only one who does not like him and I would never do anything like that. But they were looking at the side that faces the street and then he pulled it in his driveway and was washing it. His little boy kept saying.......he\'s 3 years old by the way. Daddy I told you it would come off and I couldn\'t understand what the little boy was saying was on the truck.
