So today...:)
...I went out before 10, to Starbucks. It was very crowded, but God helped me to handle the anxiety I had, and I enjoyed myself pretty well. I should have asked for a different drink, because I keep forgetting that I don't like white chocolate...hahahah pretty smart eh ;) ? but I still had a great time people watching, and letting the words of scripture, and great Christian thinkers soak in as I read my devotion book, and prayed to myself a little. :) it was a very peaceful and refreshing time, as I need every so often (the spiritual aspect every day). :)
I also signed up for a writer's "study hall" at a Seattle church based non profit coffee house. You go and work on your writing, then you can socialize. I can't wait! It will be fun having this of writing in common with people I can get to know...and maybe my brain won't mush up haha. I also want to go to the Art and Social group at the mental health clinic, and get to meet people there. I am trying to be more friendly and outgoing...especially as I probably won't be able to make it to the winter retreat for Campus Crusade for Christ....I have to pay to get our home computer fixed, because no good slime put a virus on a Christian author's website. Am I bitter, me, naw!! LOL ;P Oh well, what good does being mad do? It happens, and forgiveness frees you. I'm telling this to myself, as if you couldn't tell ;P
It's rainy and ick outside, but I bettet get home for lunch...:) Love you all. I wanted to share the good news of this writing group blessing with you!
hugs, J.
