So tired all the time...

Didn't get much canning done today, I did some enchilada sauce this morning, just finishing it up and getting it sealed in quart containers.  I found out last Thursday that the doctor thinks the extreme swelling/pain in my feet is RSD. While the swelling has gone down now that I am off Neurontin completely the pain is still persistant, and swelling is still present, just not so bad. My feet are now turning more red than blue and occassionally even look normal flesh colored. However, between both feet, knees, hands, elbows shoulders being effected canning is becoming a torture session. I refuse to give up. I still dream of moving back to the wilderness on our 20 acres and homesteading again. I miss our mountain. So I slowly push myself to build up a tolerance for the pain. If I only get a little done a day it's better than nothing at all.  I made reservations to go camping this week for three days, two nights on the beach. I am determined that my 12 year old have a little fun atleast before she starts school again. Staying home helping mom with the garden and canning all summer hasn't exactly been a blast for her. She is excited about school starting and getting out of the house! Don't blame her, wish I could go out more myself. So far I have dill pickles fermentating, fresh pack dill pickles put up, seasoned tomato sauce, saurkraut fermentating, enchilada sauce, dilly beans, and salsa. I'm pretty proud of that, considering how hard it is to just move around with the RSD. It has taken a lot out of me to get it done, but I figure I'm kind of like the turtle in the race, I may not be fast but I will get it done! I'm sure it will be nice to have come this winter. I sure wish I could get more sleep, maybe I will go atleast try for some good relax time on the bed, will try to write more often to update everyone. Gentle hugs to everyone, and wishing you pleasant dreams.
