So tired
I went out yesterday and bought otc sleeping aid but it still didnt help. Today after work I have my counseling appt after not going for a long while. Im hoping that unloading might help me, although, I feel like theres not much i will be able to talk about. I know losing the close friend will come up and my unhappiness in my job. I guess the universe has put me right where i need to be at this moment. Honestly, Im too tired to fight whats going through my brain about what could potentially happen at work today. Im trying not to care and let my habit of worrying get the best of me. Nothing is worth that.
Yesterday i veared off my keto diet and ate like crap. Im not overweight by any means but used this diet to cut sugar out because there is a history of diabetes in my family. Yes, ill probably lose weight i dont need to lose, but i wanted to see if the diet itself was causing the insomnia so yesterday I ate crappy. Well, it didnt affect the insomnia. So...im just baffled. Now Im just rambling in my sleep deprived haze. Id ask you say a prayer for me for restful sleep and excessive worry. Happy Friday BTW.

What helps me alot is asking questions. If I feel bad I will ask why do I feel this way? I keep digging and digging and the answer is almost always a fear of something. Then I work through that fear.
God Bless
Yeah, I'm strides ahead of where I use to be with dealing with fear. I'm more rational now. Of course nothing happened when I got to work but my whole life I'm always preparing for the worse case scenario. Here lately I've just been so much better emotionally. I got past all the hurt finally and that's why I'm so stumped with this insomnia. Yesterday I started painting my furniture, I'm finding little things like that that make me happy. Ive excepted where Im at in the moment and not letting it bother me.
I do my venting among my peer supporters. I believe my pros are better for developing strategies for coping and/or healing the yaddahs behind whatever I keep needing to vent.
But that is me.. . .
Continued support while you find what works for you, Sage.
Prayers in progress for a deep, restorative rest.
