so tired
it just dawned on me today why im sooo tired. they gave me extra steroids with the infusion and then i was running around like i could take on the world and yesterday that all changed.......i didnt crash or flare but i just deflated. Today is more of the same, very tired, sleepy and just not really with it. Glad the house got clean on the weekend, cause now i can just park myself and do nothing. And i started my prednisone taper yeasterday, i went down 2.5mg. i guess i should up my adrenal supplement to see if that will help.
i have the date for the full transplant assessment, i go the week of apr 11. i will get an info package in march with all the appointments.....and so it starts. my resp. doc wants me to get down to 15,g of prednisone and to lose 6lbs. what a guy, like i havent been saying the same thing since this all started, but now that the assessment is set up he is all gung ho.....whatever.
i bought a pair of snowshoes, i have been tromping around the backyard trying to get some exercise, its not as easy as i thought i would be but i will keep trying. maybe if i take a nap i can get out there today, its a nice day.
our dog is expecting puppies, sometime the first of april......not what we were planning for, it was an ooops.
i am going in for an endoscopy tomorrow, for the stomach issues which keep coming and going. ive been trying some natural emedies that dont seem to be helping, apple cider vinegar (yuck) digestive enzymes and probiotics and alkaline water.....nothing seems to do anything. the nexium helps a bit. it just worries me that it could be irritating my lungs even more. maybe ill try meditating this afternoon....i miss my hammock. i dont know if ill be home this summer to enjoy it, i will probably be living on toronto with my daughter waiting for the call. in a way i am looking forward to us living together (not the reason for it) i am excited to get to know her as an adult, and i never lived on my own. i went from my dad's to my husband's......maybe i will feel like a grown up, whatever that means ... lol
well ds is doing weird things so i will save this before i lose it

Hey Its ok, just rest......sometimes you just have to park it......
Sounds like you are keepin busy inside and out.
I don\'t do puppies.
Hi,
Yes do just rest. I have been taking that Dan Active probiotic drink for several months. It has been helping alot. I know you have been taking probiotics but just wanted you to know that it seems to help me. I too have stomach issues with my scleroderma.
How exciting about the puppies. I adore puppies and wish I could breed my Yorkie. But she is so tiny and I would hate to lose her so won\'t take that chance. Take care and I will be thinking of you and praying for you.
Love & (((HUGS)))

I hope that you are able to recover quickly. Snowshoeing sounds like fun.I tried it once. My legs weren\'t long enough to walk properly. I kept falling down. God Bless.
Hi!
Sounds like your body is needing the rest after taking on the world and the house after the prednisone boost with your infusion. Listen to it and let it rest when it can. Sounds like you are having to rest between stomach issues and you have a full schedule coming up soon. Possibly a move for you in the future too. Lots of activity. I miss your hammock too!
Reading about your meditation time and reading time out there always makes me feel at peace
Talk about DS doing strange things! It just added that comment without me wanting it too. At least it added it instead of erasing it. Just one other thing I wanted to add though.
I find being \"grownup\" overrated! ;-)
Hoping that your strength returns and the predni taper goes well.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Peace, Love and Hugs
a lot going on. you can handle it as you wait for summer and the hammock and yes, an adult relationship with your daughter sounds like fun actually. stay warm and well.
