So Softly Smiling
Don't cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.
I must admit, I am a little tired. Not tired of life, not tired of living, just tired of taking it.
I'm getting beside myself, bitching about things I really have no control over. I abandoned my smile, and for a brief moment, felt hostility towards this existence.
I guess it was an unusual day, I searched my mind for answers to reasons. Just reasons, and I could not think of one reason for the inclination to even analyze this shit. The fact is, I blinked into the darkness of despair and stared straight into the bowels of no particular purpose.
But then I began to listen to my heart, so softly smiling, and released that negative energy which consumed me. I woke smiling and planted my feet firmly on a spiritual path, seeking a direct relationship with love. All of a sudden, the moon was leaving my window and the sun began to shine.
So I pulled the covers back over my head and said; Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

It absolutely does work. When we learn to listen and tap into our soul, we learn to see the world in a much brighter way. Glad you managed to have a better day from a day that started under a black cloud.
