So my little streak ended last night!
One of my close friends, who I don’t speak to as often as I might like to, well talking to her last night and she telling me she’s pregnant (with her 2nd) and not only that but so another friend (with her 3rd) and their due less then a week apart and at the same hospital and they’ll have to get a joining rooms, and she getting certified for home day care and the funny thing s that her now almost 5 year old is saying as she processes this whole thing, etc. I did pretty well on the phone, better then I would have say 6 months ago but after I hung up, I could “feel” it in my throat. What I noted most though after my 10 minutes of crying and 15 of talking with DH and drinking a glass of wine, was my DH reaction. He was really good, the second I hold him he just grabbed me an held me until I calmed down, then said things like well they’ll be pg during the full heat of August and you’ll be thin (ya right) and drinking margarita’s, don’t apologies for being upset it’s natural and you’re doing so well, it’s wonderful for them and it will be for us too just not today. It’s such a vast change form November when another friend announced, I mean my reaction was far worse but he’s was so “nonchalant” and he didn’t get it, now he gets it and it makes it a lot easier for me. Still tough though my friend apparently got pg the first month they were really trying and the other got pg with a “farewell” right before her DH vasectomy! How the F$%? does that happen, seriously, come on! So the “heaviness” is back a bit today, DH Sister called last night and I was hoping she wouldn’t want to chat with me because I wasn’t in the mood, to chat with anyone really except DH. I hate felling like this but I know it’ll pass I just have to acknowledge how I feel, I know that’s it natural but it’s not healthy to let it go for too long. Doesn’t help that with last nights Herb Consult I realized I’ve now reached the $1,000 mark for expenses in the last 3 months towards trying to get me feeling better and healthy again. Hopefully now that I am I can start to cut back because I can’t keep going like this, I just finally had something in savings and it’s GONE! I did like not living quite so paycheck to paycheck for a little while and need to get back there. I talked to DH about it last night, he was a little shocked by how much I’ve spent but said my health was worth it at the same time…so I guess after buying a couple of summer dresses tonight – spendy-spendy time is over. Time to tighten the belt again and regain the cushion, who knows when I’ll need it again!

I know how hard that news can be. I\'m glad DH gets it more and it wasn\'t as hard as it would have been months ago. Sometimes it\'s just frustrating to hear how easy it is for others, when that\'s all we want and it\'s so hard. I hope our time is soon, and we\'ll cherish it all the more!
I\'m so happy to hear how you\'re feeling more support from your DH. I know it can really make a difference in your life & nothing beats when DH knows to just hold you & allow you to let it out. We\'ve gone through the same thing recently & I\'m so glad that my DH finally seems like he gets it...and now I think he even feels the same pain at times. My mom always said misery loves company. LOL...but seriously it helps to know you\'re not overreacting & that the men in our lives DO understand.
It\'s great that your feeling better & your DH is right your health is more important than $.
Sending prayers & big hugs your way! Keep your chin up-your day will come & you\'ll sooo appreciate & cherish every moment.
