So much loss!!

This week has been an emotional train wreck for me. Yesterday my 6 year old cat, Kitty, passed away suddenly. Today is my last day at my job I have been at for over 25 years. I was laid off due to corporate restructuring. Maybe losing my job was a blessing in disguise. My Sjogren's syndrome has been flaring and rearing it's ugly head lately. (due to all this stress??) I knew a month ago that I was being let go and I had to train someone else all of my responsibilities. That was part of my severence pay agreement. Not a fun thing to know your days are numbered. Prior to that I was really worrying about how long I would be able to stay at my job due to the fact that I have several autoimmune issues and it has become harder and harder to drag myself to the office every morning. Maybe this is God's plan for me to slow down and smell the roses and not take so much for granted. It's just hard to see it right now.

Maybe, but losing a job can also add to depression. I hope that you can adjust to not working your job you had for a number of years. I know when I am not working, it makes me depressed. I am here for you!
