So Little

A big ball of energy arcs it's way from the floor to my tummy as I sit in the recliner.  After getting it's footing on the soft, wobbly spot, it makes it's way to my chest where it lays on it's side and snuggles it's nose under my beard.  A tongue licks at my neck until I make it stop.  Later, a smaller ball makes a softer landing and curls up on my left,,,part on the arm of the chair and part on my leg, and falls asleep.  At another time, the ball brings a toy for a visit.  It could be a fox toy, rope toy, or a small bone treat to snack on.  A small face with big eyes appears under the computer keyboard telling me my time is up.  Those same eyes will stare at me while the ball runs around the room and back and forth from the side door and the living room telling me it needs to go outside.  While outside, the ball, at times, will become a streak, running all over the back yard, making stops to greet its friends at the fences,,,finding a twig for a toy or a ball,,,and among all the streaking will make stops to do what it needed and the main reason for being outside.  With all the activity comes snuggles and rubbing and pawing and looks that can kill.  At bed time, there's time for last minute cuddles.  Then, the ball settles down and lays as close to me as it can, knowing that sometimes during the night, it will be moved when the hulk beside it changes position or has to get up.  When morning comes, it will all start over again.  This little ball of energy asks for so little,,,good food,,,fresh water,,,a treat every now,,a warm or cool place to live,,,and a show of love.  In return, it gives unconditional love.  Its a great deal for the hulk.  The hard part is for the hulk to try to repay the ball.  There is not enough time or action to repay such a fantastic gift from something so small.

Sounds like your gift is Kit. How much joy they bring to us on a regular basis. So, what gift did Kit leave on his first car ride? I am curious, just kidding. I love your journals on your Kit, they are fun to read. I also like the ones of things you did when you was young. You are blessed!
