So, It's Been a While

I've been busy doing this, that & the other that I didn't realize how long it's actually been since I journaled. Here's what's up:- Every week, I notice my back getting better. It's still tired at the end of the day, and I still have strength to re-build, but it is getting better.- DH got a new part time job, then found a full-time job! It's 3rd shift & it just started, so we'll see how it goes. But that's really going to help.- DS...oh, DS! Pretty much the same. He ticked me off the other day, as he told a friend of mine who then told me that he had just finished his 1st year of community college. WHAT?! I dispelled that lie immediately and called DS out on it later. That's all I can do for now...- DD is now dating the guy she went to prom with. He seems like a really nice boy. She & I visited a couple schools a few weeks ago & got an idea of what kind of atmosphere she likes, etc. She also needs to get her SAT scores up if she wants to get into most schools. Yeah, it's getting down to the wire with college stuff!- the dog is going deaf. I noticed one day when I called his name when he was relaxing with DH outside. Usually he'd just look at me, but he didn't even notice. So we make sure to use hand signals to command him. Fortunately, he already knows most of them and he's really smart. Overall, though, I'm thinking he probably doesn't have much time left. :(- Mean Sister & I are planning a day trip to our grandparents' grave in October. We were talking about their deaths (which happened quite a while ago) & how that was still impacting her. I suggested the visit so she'd get some closure. So we'll see how that goes. In any case, it's a lovely cemetery & I do have some more relatives to look up.- My genealogy is going well, except my on-line software has been acting up. So the site's tech people are looking into it. I hope it's fixed soon. Otherwise, I've been going a lot of learning and making some good connections though some FB genealogy groups.
