So I Guess I Wait

So I guess I will have to wait till May to see my new neuro for follow up. Was to have a appointment this week, but he had emergence surgery. I pray he is ok. My husband & I are leaving to travel in our motorhome at the end of the month and was looking for a go from him.  My symptoms have increased, legs a little weak, eyes driving me nuts, food not going down easy.  And my family doctor is also out due to colon cancer.  We are going to go any way. We will be starting in Southern California so I know that UCLA is there if thing get bad. His nurse said there should be no problems getting my mestinon.  Our grandson, who has autism, will be with us.  And I will not disappoint him.
So I will start this adventure and see what it brings. And maybe at some point I will learn how to post a picture.
Love to my DS family.

Take it easy...you mentioned your symptoms are worse.. Please rest. Unfortunately we sold our RV two weeks ago . I used to drive it,now I not sure I could sit that long! We loved it with our two German shepherds. Have fun for me too :)
Sorry about your doctors ...maybe you could get a referral in the meantime. May is a long time with fluctuating symptoms.
Be well,

Just take it easy. Frequent naps and breaks. Make sure your husband recognizes your \"weakening\" signs. I don\'t always notice mine. dh will simple say something like, \"I think its time to sit down for a bit\" or something like that.

My husband & I started with camping on our honeymoon even tho I was weak. Wedding pictures aren\'t the best with a snarl for a smile. That was in a tent, we didn\'t have the funds for anything else. So now a motorhome with a comfy bed & bathroom. We are going to take our time & enjoy the view. Lots of mestinon on hand and not being out of cell service if a medical emergence arises.
My husband says your drooping, go take a pill.
