So Hot.

My entry from yesterday got lost. Never mind, it was only the usual rambling.It was so hot yesterday, I thought I would melt. 40 deg & really high humidity. It was Australia Day & our 31st anniversary. Ed had to work & I popped next door for a drink in the afternoon. The power went off just as Ed came home , so it was awful trying to get ready to go out.
The poor birds were on the deck with their wings out trying to keep cool. Poppy sat outside for a while puffing & panting, stupid dog! She finally came in & the went upstairs where it was like a furnace!
We were lucky the power was on at The Towers but it was still hot. The Thai meal we had was fantastic. I was hot but not too bad but poor Ed had sweat pouring off him. I felt like saying "wellcome to my world" but did'nt. He can't help that I always seem to have sweat pouring down my head!
He felt so hot we walked into the movie foyer trying to cool off! By the time  we got home the power was on again. The phone woke us at 1 30am. It was security from Ed's work. AAAARG. So today I am tired. Ed has just left for work stating he did'nt sleep after the phone call. Funny that, he was snoring!!
I have been up since 5am & it is now 8am. How am I going to last the day?Oh to feel normal.
