So far so good
I woke up today early again this time I did manage to sleep from about 10:30PM - 5:00PM which is good. I've read that a lot of people get fixated on sleep and the amount of time one should sleep. The amount of sleep varies from one person to the next, your age, and other factors. A lot of people with depression suffer from either lack of sleep, or wanting to sleep excessively.Although I woke up at 5AM I did try and go back to sleep. I eventually got out of bed at 8AM, I didn't't go back to sleep, I just couldn't't get up. At the moment I'm still dreading the thought of waking, it's because I know I have to face reality, and also perhaps experience more anxiety. This morning I didn't't experience any horrible anxiety, I wouldn't say I was ecstatic or even happy but I just didn't' feel so bad, I even managed a small laugh with my landlord before he left for work.I visited the Anti-coagulation clinic at the hospital at 10AM to get my blood taken, I was even quite chilled at the hospital, which is unusual as I can be impatient especially when waiting in turn. I kept reminding myself that what I think is what I feel, and that if I think negative, I feel negative. It helped believe me.On the way home I got chatting to some old women on the bus, she had clearly hurt her hand somehow, as she had a bandage strapped around it. She explained it was caused by a dog in the town centre, and while she didn't't blame the dog, she was worried because she is taking Warfarin, and she didn't want to bleed everywhere. So we got chatting, me about what I've been going through, and her with her life and it made me feel good, we even compared notes on levels of Warfarin, she was on a low dose of 4mg and she was surprised that I could be on 9mg and 10mg, I explained that everyone is different and that usually the younger you are the more Warfarin you need to make the blood clot less. I was happy that even a complete stranger can be warm and share some humanity, and she was glad I informed her about the medication. When you are depressed it's the small things that can make the difference.Well it's not even 12pm here in England, I will probably write another entry latter in the day. Bye for now.
