So far so good
We made it to Ottawa. It was hard walking in to Lisa's house. Harvey and Beth, with Cevyn's input, have done some major renos. Lisa wanted to do a lot of the stuff they did but there was never enough money. I am doing my best not to be resentful and hurt. But I know life goes on and I know Cevyn is happy with everything. In fact Cevyn even helped build the deck. She thought she might have a future in carpentry!
Beth does love her and they get along really well. They went to Syracuse shopping on Black Friday and had a great time. Beth said they talked a lot about Lisa.
I am so grateful for the fact that we are welcome here any time. I was fearful that we would be nudged out but that is not at all the case.
Tonight we are going to see Cevyn dance in a recital at school. I know I will shed a tear as I know Lisa would be bursting with pride.
So today is bittersweet. But I know now I will make it through Christmas.
Lisa: I will be there cheering on your little "peanut" (she isn't so little anymore, almost 6 feet tall). She is so happy but misses you dreadfully. Ad so I. I miss you always and love you forever. Mum

Yes...so many things are bittersweet...hugs to you...
You are feeling what you need to and are present to your beautiful Cevyn. Thank goodness you can be in one another\'s lives as you need to be. I understand how those major tugs on our heartstrings feel dear friend... Never easy and always there. Missing your Lisa with every breath and keeping a watchful eye out on her beautiful daughter, your granddaughter... This is grace.
Loving care to your heart and to you,
Joanie
6 feet tall ~ wow ~ Cevyn must be a stunning beauty!
What a blessing to feel so warmly welcomed by Harvey and Beth and that Beth has embraced Cevyn so lovingly into her life!
I will be thinking of you with gentleness and tender love as your visit carries you through the bittersweet waters of loss and renewal.
Peace, blessings and much love to you and precious Lisa ~ Debbie
Marlene, I am so glad you have not been kept out of Cevyn\'s life and that Beth is so good to her and loves her and speaks of beautiful Lisa with Cevyn. But it isn\'t the way it should be. Lisa and Harvey and Cevyn should have lived happily ever after. I hope your life, over time, is more sweet than bitter. Love to you and Lisa, Linda
I sure Lisa is watching Cevyn\'s dance and is bursting with pride. Sending love, Terry
We never knew what lay ahead in our life journeys... what our families would look like. I don\'t even know if I could explain my family to someone, and do the relationships justice! You have love to give and love to receive and so the river of love flows through you. On behalf of the universe, thank you for being a wonderful mother and grandmother. : )
Much love, Sarah
Lisa was right there, too, cheering on \"little peanut\" just out of sight but there, nonetheless...
That is wonderful to anticipate being ABLE to get through Christmas, because thought usually follows action and I think having a positive attitude about future events can help to ensure we CAN \"do it!\" Stay rested...helps keep us stronger for any potential battles! You CAN do it! Love+Hugs, Donna
