So Far a Better day

So far so good today, although we did get one call from the school about David.  Apparently, this other boy with worse issues (can you imagine?), has had issues with David along with other kids.  Several weeks ago, supposedly this boy stole David's $21 Mead zipper binder and threw it in the toilet, along with books and papers.  I have no idea how they figured out it was him except for supposedly at lunch he goes up to David and says "Are you missing something?"  Yesterday, this same boy (only just learned this today), accused David of having a knife in school.  No knife was found.  And we check David's bookbag before he leaves.  Was supposedly in his bookbag.  David had to be searched, including his locker and we were informed of the incident.  This kid also accused other kids yesterday of the same thing with nothing ever found.  This boy was in the office this AM with the vice principal for another incident and David tells someone that this same boy brushed up against his backpack earlier.  David "found" a knife in his backpack and panicked and flushed down toilet.  No knfe was found and there would be no way that this would flush anyway.  This kid was with the VP, so most likely he lied about the incident (retaliation?  Who knows.)   Paul is taking David to counseling and I am home working.  They will call me from counselors so I can give input to  her.  We have parent meeting tomorrow with VP and teachers.  This is to discuss academic stuff.  We will have to meet again sometime with VP to discuss behavioral issues and behavior plan.  Double UGH!   Attorney for my company coming to my house to prep me for court case I have to testify in on Monday.  I hate to testify in court.  Drives me crazy.  Especially when I do nothing wrong.   I did 11,005 steps on Tuesday and 10,005 steps yesterday.  (Was "jogging" around my bedroom last night at 11pm to get just over 10k.)  Went to the YMCA this am and did my treadmill for 35 minutes (jog/walk alternating).  Also did lower body weights for 20 minutes.  Did some bender ball crunches last night. Went out to Fitday.com and was beginning to figure it out.  I downloaded the program for $19.99.  I really prefer the dowloaded version much better.  So much easier to read/see/navigate.  Just my personal preference.  But I love the reports and the custom features.  It will be a little time consuming for a bit getting my favorite foods and exercises in there and custom stuff.  But really cool keeping track.  Eye opener.  Calories for exercise not near what I thought (burning calories.)  It helped me come up with a plan as well.  So we will see how things go.  So far so good.  I will do this for a while instead of WW points and see how it goes.   Worked from home today.  Very busy and somewhat stressed but I am hanging in there.  Have to "swish" the kitchen, family room and bathroom before tomorrow am so things are somewhat clean for when this attorney gets here.  Wish me luck!
