So Far.....
I had 1 cup of Mult-grain cheerios and 1 cup of milk for breakfast. Took my meds....and did a 20 min, sweaty, sweaty walk. I kept up a decent clip. I haven't sweat this much in a while. So, my question to (anyone) who reads this, do you think, 20 mins is enough right now to make a difference? I mean, it's 20 mins more than I've been doing for YEARS now, so I have to assume that it's a GREAT thing if not an AWESOME thing. I will update with my lunch and dinner meals and see how I do. I am in the process of drinking my 32oz water bottle. I figure 2 of those a day should be good. Any tips? tricks? Strategies? Thanks my friends! You guys are amazing!!! MAD LOVE and hugs!

Others may disagree, but I personally think that 20-30 minutes of any type of exercise that increases heart rate and respiration is wonderful. There\'s plenty of time in the future to increase time and/or level of effort. Do fall into the trap of having exercise become a negative experience. Right now, keep it pleasant and positive. I\'ll be heading out in about 10 minutes (although it\'s only 39 degrees and cloudy here -- oh well).
The above line should read: *Don\'t* fall into the trap of having exercise become a negative experience . . . not \"Do\"! It would be nice to be able to edit these journal comments after posting . . .
lol NO problem I understood what you meant!
Hey, 20 minutes is great. I\'ve even heard gardening is good exercise. It\'s not like you need to kill yourself to make it a workout. Continue what you\'re doing and I really think that you\'ll see an improvement. The thing is, don\'t look for a dramatic improvement too quickly. The longer you take to get to your goal, the easier it is to sustain your habits, because by then, it\'s just the way you live. So keep up the good work girl. God bless you
