so confused
Well, my neuro's office called me yesterday. I was expecting to get another appointment. Instead, the PA said my spinal fluid was clear. No need to come in. So, that leaves me where I started. CONFUSED!
I don't know what is going on with my body and nobody else has a clue either. I will continue to wean myself off of the Effexor and see what happens there. Other than that I am just going to live life until I can't manage to walk and talk anymore. At that point I will go back to the neuro I guess. They pretty much don't want to deal with me from what I gather. They have no idea about what is causing my issues and they aren't going to work too hard to find out. I really don't think much of the medical community. If they don't know what something is they write it off as mental. If they do, then they just want to throw pills at you and call it good. I guess that is what people expect of them.

I\'m sorry you still do not have any answers. But it is good your spinal fluid was clear. I know it is aggravating to not know why you are hurting. Is there any more test they can do for you? Or is there another doctor they can refer you to? I do like your attitude just keep living until you can not walk. Hope you have a good day. Talk to you later.

HUG. I was in the same boat with the spinal fluid. They said all clear, but later when I saw am MS specialist, he dx me on my neuro exam & lesions alone. He said the spinal fluid test is archaic & good percentage of people w/ MS don\'t show the O bands -- especially early on but it\'s just happenstance whether they show up or not. I don\'t recall if you have lesions or not, but don\'t let them write you off based on the tap. Keep fighting of answers. HUGS
