So annoying!

Ok, I feel wrong to be annoyed by this, but the nurse at my RE's office still hasn't called my prescriptions in! The clinic is open til 3 or 4 (they stop answering the phones at 3, so I assume they 'close' then), and I called just before 2. Yes, I understand they can get busy and all, but seriously, it only takes a few minutes to call in a prescription! Heck, if you were too busy to do it yesterday, you could have called it in this morning before starting everything else!
I'm so annoyed because for once I'm actually looking forward to taking the stupid pills! Plus, my hubby has a prescription refill in to pick up today, so it'd be nice if we only had to make ONE trip to the pharmacy to get everything. It's little things like this that make me wish I could find another RE. Unfortunately, I'd have to go looking in Toronto or Ottawa, which are both about 2 hours away from me and I don't have the money to travel back and forth for appointments (hubby and I don't drive, so we have to take the train).
On a good note, I followed LMWT's advice and looked at Amazon.com for some LH and HCG strip tests. After a short discussion with my hubby, I ordered a 40 LH and 10 HCG test kit. They should arrive between April 3rd and 9th. Which will be right on time for me to start using the LH strips if I get my darn prescription today! I just wish my RE's office didn't seem so damn disorganized!

That is really annoying they have not called in your meds yet! It can not take that long to do so even if they are busy someone should have the extra minute to call!

Glad you looked at Amazon.com. I had never thought of doing that until someone else on here sugested it. The price is WAY better than any stores around here!

I had an office not call in a prescription, but I didn\'t know about it until I was actually at the pharmacy. Well I called them directly and then just put the pharmacist on the phone with them. It\'s a small town pharmacy so they were cooperative, don\'t know if that would work for you or not.

I keep trying to call my RE\'s office, but keep getting the damn answering machine. I left a message for the nurse, hopefully she\'ll call me back or at least call in the prescription.

I know this isn\'t the first time you\'ve had issues with the RE\'s office. It couldn\'t hurt to research other options, even if you don\'t decide to make the switch. Sorry they\'re dragging their feet, I\'d be annoyed too!

kDeezy, I\'ve done some research over the past couple of days an my RE\'s office is literally the ONLY office in my city. There are 2 REs in the clinic and that\'s it. It\'s not a very big city/town either, so really they don\'t need a whole bunch. My only option is to go to Toronto or Ottawa, but I can\'t afford the travel. I\'m stuck with my current RE for now, unfortunately.
