Small Town Texas
No wonder I battle depression.
It wasn't always like this... I used to live in a nice town where I took care of my Mother with Dementia. Only one of my three siblings helped us out. When Mom got sick, I couldn't stay at the Senior Community, one reason, I wasn't on the Lease! I was only a Caregiver. When Mom died, I was there with her holding her hand. Soon, the two siblings that never helped were there closing down OUR home! I arrived in time to watch them load up the Salvation Army Truck with my desk etc... My sister allowed me to get some of my things. (12 boxes) I stayed with two nasty ladies from Facebook, sleeping on a dirty mattress with roaches crawling on me all night! I couldn't take it! I went to a Homeless Shelter in McKinney Texas. I studied and got my GED there. That's also where I met my roommate, a woman, one that talks to God as if He was there just for her! It was then I realized she was in love with me and thought God had brought me to her! I sleep with my clothes on, she's never seen me without a shirt on. This woman can not cook! She lives as if the world will end any day now. I have been stuck with her for two years now. I am paying Bills and find it hard to get away. I live at the North tip of Town, where the woods start. My only escape is to go into the woods.
Over a year ago, we were having a fight and she wouldn't get out of my room. My personal space. I slapped her across the face! First time I ever hit a girl too. But this was no ordinary girl... she picked up a metal broom and smashed my hand!
She also broke my kitten's hip somehow too.
Monday, I go and see a shrink... who knows what will happen? But I have never felt this alone before!
