Smile

the sun is bright
so am i
i'm so glad 
to be alive.
i have this body
and i have a soul
now it's time
to use them both.
people judge me
i don't mind
after all
it's not a crime.
i live fearless
and yet so feared
that i could cause trouble
if no one was here.
to know that i'm good
more than i'm bad
i guess it's ok
though i'm still sad.
instead of crying
i will just laugh
because there's no better medicine 
than just the one smile like that.
