Slowly life is normalizing
Thank you for all the kind wishes.
We are getting in to a routine here. Cevyn is back at classes and doing well. I am banished to the bedroom now because she is doing her presentation. Her courses are all on line. The twins are at school and i am enjoying the solitude.
I am calling myself Granny the Washerwoman these days. We had piles of linens and towels to do when the out of towners left. They rented a B&B but had extra people so needed sheets and towels. And I didn't realize how much laundry two 5 year olds could accumulate!
Joe's cataract surgery went well. He has been well cared for by the neighbours.
Cevyn still looking to move somewhere close. She finds it hard as David lived here almost as long as she has so it was kind of their place. Davey created a bit of a party space in the garage so every time she goes out, there are reminders. So we are going to look at a place a block away. It is less expensive too so that would be a plus.
The twins go with their dad after school and come back on Sunday. I can honestly say I love them to the moon and back but the break will be nice!
My niece on chemo is doing okay. My nephew is still in the hospital but they are talking about rehab. He is an ornery person and is asking his sister to take him home with her. If she does, she will be sorry. However she is as disfunctional as him so I can see her doing it. I have 2 other nieces who wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole!
I am as content as I can be right now as I feel that I am where I need to be. I have no idea how long I will stay here. If I am here over Christmas, I want Joe to come back. I do miss his quiet reassurance but am happy to settle for daily calls for now.
Lisa: I assume you are welcoming David. I miss you like anything - December 1 is almost here. It just hurts. I miss you always and love you forever. Mummy

Gentle hugs and love ❤
So glad to know that Joe's surgery went well and that Ceyvn is doing well and back to her classes. And I'm glad that she's found a nice place close by to move to, and I hope her and the girls will be very happy. I can understand the need/want to start fresh. I also understand the chore of fresh sheets...hang in there Granny the Washer Woman!
LOVE and hugs to you and Lisa from me and Kala~
