Slow Day

Today is going very slow here at work.  Didn't post yesterday cause I couldn't think of much to say.  Still down about my kitty.  I took her back to the vet monday, and he told me there is nothing he can do for her except try to make her more comfortable.  He gave her a steroid shot and it seems to have increased her appitite a little, and she is moving around a little more, but the tumor in her stomach is growing pretty fast.  She just seems so alert and still enjoys getting petted and loved on.  I can't bring myself to put her down as long as she doesn't act like she is in a lot of pain.  Hope that is not selfish of me to want to keep her with us as long as we can.  Vet says to bring her in once a week for a steroid shot as long as she seems to benefit from it.
On a lighter note, today is 4 weeks sober!  I've about decided to just put a count on weeks instead of days.  Guess the count isn't that important, its the staying sober that counts, no matter how many days.  Hope everyone is doing well, will keep my prayers for us all going.
