Slight Update
Hi Ladies. As most of you know I have been having a tough time with jobs lately, so I took a job at a grocery store in my neighborhood as a cashier. Had a tough time getting used to being on my feet all day. My back would kill me. I bought some Dr. Scholl things to put in my tennis shoes to help my back. It helps a little. So now that I was getting used to it, even enjoying it a bit, the store is closing the end of Aug. I swear I am like the kiss of death. I have worked at, at least 4 places that have gone out of business. Brookshire Bros, is a chain, but a smaller chain then some of the others in the area. There prices are higher than the others, so it was hard for them to keep up, with HEB or Walmart. So now I am pounding the pavement again. (the internet). I applied at a place called HomeInstead. What you do is visit the elderly or shut-ins and helped them with little things, like light housekeeping or a light meal, or a cup of tea or something. Maybe run to the store or pick up a prescription for them. You don’t get into bathing them or anything like that., or administering meds. You don’t have to be a nurse or have any experience, just genuinely want to help people. So we shall see if I get this one. I am feeling really great. I have my Dr. appointment next month. Here is where I start getting nervous. You all know what that is like. That is about it for now. I will keep you posted on the job search. Love and hugs to all Anita
