Slept And Slept

I'm still feeling brain dead today. I didn't do anything, just cooked dinner. I slept for most of the day since I didn't sleep well last night. I went to bed at 10:30, and was up around midnight for a while, same thing at 3am and 7am. 7am was the worst... I was up past 8 and had to take a couple klonopin to get myself back to sleep. After that, I slept okay for a bit but woke up at noon. I ate some breakfast and lay back down for a minute and the next thing I know it's 3:30. I'm still tired.... probably from sleeping too much. I just don't feel well today. I didn't do any sort of exercise... I was going to go for a walk but ended up napping instead. I hope I sleep well tonight so I can go into work tomorrow. I don't want to go into work. I just want to sleep. I don't like going to work anymore... I feel like everyone's against me for some unknown reason. I guess that's why I'm getting anxiety attacks when I think about work. Yesterday was okay since I was at the information desk unofficially, and I wasn't pressured to do anything. Maybe I could request to go back there, but then I would be out for everyone to see. If I had an anxiety attack there, there would be no place for me to go unless I went to the bathroom, which is a less than private place.
All I know is that I can't stay inside all day.. I have to get out. Last time I stayed inside all the time due to anxiety I couldn't leave the house on my own. I had to be on the phone with a friend. This was when I was living with my sister. She and her husband would be at work, leaving me alone all day. I couldn't talk to my sister, anyway... I didn't have the words to say. She was working with kids with mental problems, and I didn't want to bug her more when she got home. I pulled away from everyone and just sat in my room all day, in bed, petrified of someone coming into my room. I would have a large water bottle and food, and only left to use the bathroom and get more food. I don't want to go back to those days, but I don't know what I can do to prevent it if I can't volunteer.
I still feel like taking a break from volunteering to try and see how it would be. I don't know how long I could take it, sitting alone in my room all day and sleeping all the time. I know it would be bad for me, but I still am tempted to try it. I would need to talk it over with my therapist. She would know what's best for me. Her and Geo.
Food today was bad... I'm at about 1,200 calories. I drank a lot of milk today, hoping to increase my calories but it didn't work. I had my mini bagel with peanut butter for breakfast and chicken with mac and cheese for dinner. I didn't eat lunch today because I slept through it again. Mood today was okay... I think I might be headed down again with all the anxiety. Sleep last night- poor, but I got a lot of it. Anxiety today was moderate... No big attacks, just little ones.

I hope you feel a little more upbeat by now. I\'m glad you are asking your therapist about volunteering before you just stop. Because often it\'s just the depression telling us to quit. Your sleep pattern seems to be all over the place. I hope it gets better soon.

Yes I echo what Karrn said about talking with the therapist about quiting. Just a couple of journals ago you were voicing that you wanted to go back to work and now you seem to be retreating. Lots of highs and lows since you came out of the hospital. Maybe a dr. visit is needed to double check the meds.
