Sleeping with Chickens

My treehouse is right beside the chicken coop so this morning I am up watching my feathered friends eating their breakfast and chasing the ducks.  If you ever get a chance to come stay here and want to be in the center of the action, request the ELMO treehouse.  My big picture window is open to the coop and the forest...its like watching a movie on screen.  Its steps away from the kitchen and the bathroom.  Now there are treehouses deep in the woods but last night I was thankful being close to the bathrooms and I like being near my fine feathered friends.  I was lucky because this treehouse had 2 fans and so I slept blissfully cool in the GA heat last night.  Last night before dinner, we all held hands, went around the circle and introduced ourselves and said three things we are greatful for.  Then...the vegan dinner...white rice with curry vegetable, salad and tahini dressing with a glass of cold well water...yum.  Today I am going to walk the grounds, maybe do a little project in the art room..i never want to leave and thankful for the one night i have left here.
