Sleep Apnea and Heart Attacks

Hello Everyone!

Well, it's been a while since I've been on here.  I had another heart attack last year. :/. I was feeling better (once I got off meds) and then BOOM!  It seems to have come out of no where.  I have gained 50lbs since my first heart attack 3 years ago (I contribute that to meds, lack of energy, etc).  I have always been a moderate healthy eater and have excercized as long as I can remember.  But yet still, Drs can't quite figure out what is causing my heart attacks...not a drinker or smoker...no high cholesterol.  Heart attacks have been due to blood clots but yet, I'm not prone to clotting.

Well, I am starting to have minor symptoms again that's really concerning!  I am finding that my heart does the weirdest things while sleeping or I wake up in the middle of the night with my heart pounding.  I am suspecting sleep apnea??  I was wondering if anyone has experienced this or can contribute sleep apnea to heart attacks.  Would love your input!  (And could use some hugs, encouragment, or whatever...my family pretty much is sick of me complaining so I have no real support...especially when told it's all in my head.  :/). Thanks bunches!
