Slave labor
Tuesday afternoon...a day off. Ahhhhhhhh.....Just lost an employee who is moving away....so now I will be back to working 13 out of every 14 days!!!! Ack!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think slaves used to get more time off than that! Don't want to do it, just don't have much choice. If I am not open so many hrs a week, I will lose the lease on one of my offices. Sigh.... Hope I can find someone soon...if not, I'll have to let one office go, and I've worked too hard to build it up to want to do that! It will also mean a big decrease in income, and I can not really afford that....not to mention, it will put my financial recovery plan in big-time jeopardy! So...went to the pool in my complex and just totally relaxed for a few minutes. It is 100 degrees here today, so the water was HEAVENLY! I'm so glad I moved here. I downsized from a big house to a small apartment in February, and I was sooo afraid I would feel cramped and claustrophobic here. NOT at all....in fact, it is so much easier to keep this place clean and organized. Another thing I love is the decrease in utility bills...less space to heat and cool. Where I live, it is the cooling that is so expensive. The monthly budget in my old house was $415 a month for gas and electric! I think it will be about half that where I am now. So.....worrying about what will happen with my business/financial things in the next couple of months...but at least I don't have to worry about gambling being part of my problems. So grateful I am still gamble-free...I seem to have more peace about that than before. Sending out big hugs and much love....

I\'m sorry you are going to have to pick up the slack! I know it\'s exhausting working so much. I\'m glad you went to the pool and relaxed for a while. You so deserve it! Just curious... could you not tape into some of the temp service companies in town until you can find a full time person?

Oh no!!! Good employees are hard to find, and keep. You did it before, you can do it again. I didn\'t realize you had more than one office, WOW, Dianne :) Sometimes I just marvel at the people I\'ve met here, you ROCK! This might be a super-dumb question, but can your bf help out in the office? How much fun would it be to get to boss him around! LOL teasing you... No teasing the Boss, Robin! Love you!

Glad to hear you are happy about your move. Hoping you don\'t have to drop an office..have faith..sometimes God puts others in our path at the right moment. Being in business myself I can relate to the employee thing. I hang the company hat on a go away hook...no matter what is going on I have learned to clear my head until Monday :)
Hmmm warm pool..sounds nice..I was in mine yesterday at a water temp of 68 degrees.LOLLL Still unthawing today but it was nice :)
